The National Tender Bulletin picks up a little weight this week, with adverts coming from all levels of the public sector.

In the absence of the national Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) currently under development at the State IT Agency (SITA) on behalf of National Treasury, the Public Protector is advertising for its own solution. National Treasury is also going direct to market with a request for the development of the Infrastructure Delivery Management Systems (IDMS) for Municipalities.

And rounding up with non-IT tenders of interest to the IT sector, the Department of Trade and Industry is looking for a service provider to conduct an assessment of the regulatory proposals on the Intellectual Property Policy Framework for South Africa, and SITA is looking for a branding agency that will work on revitalising the brand among external stakeholders, with a focus on the corporate identity, for a three-year period.
