Kevin McKerr is an internationally recognised cyber security expert with thought-leadership in cyber crime and defence. He has extensive experience in the enterprise security, challenges and strategy affecting clients across industries for large enterprises. He enjoys a decade of professional working experience with the IBM IT industry. Covering growth market regions the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific, based out of Singapore, McKerr currently works at IBM as security sales leader. Prior to that, McKerr worked at Puleng Technologies in sales management roles, specialising in security, service management, information storage and cloud. McKerr also has mobile television network experience, including tech start-ups, cross-industry, FSS, telco, oil and gas, to better manage their security maturity programmes by providing cutting-edge security services, solutions and technologies in a full and holistic approach. As a consultative seller, McKerr's approach is to partner with clients to better understand their business and security requirements in order to develop strategies, roadmaps and architectures to establish enterprise-wide security and risk management solutions that are technically applicable and within the client's budget. He is ITIL and cloud certified. He is an avid speaker and has presented at many business conferences: CyberCon Africa, ITWeb's Governance, Risk and Compliance Conference, and the BlackHat conference.
