Jeanetha Brink is an advocate with in excess of 20 years' experience in various areas of legal and regulatory compliance. Workplace ethics and company culture have always been her main areas of interest, which is backed up by experience in both the public and private sector, where she performed policy development and training in ethics. Formerly, she worked for the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA), where she conducted inspections in terms of the International Standards of Quality Control. Other areas of experience include litigation, internal reviews, fraud prevention and anti-corruption, etc, which has equipped her for her current expansion into areas of information security risk and cyber risk. She currently utilises her legal and investigative experience to conduct risk reviews in the information security sector.

An experienced speaker and trainer, she will challenge your thinking with practical examples and solid application of foundational principles in your industry. Corporate governance and cyber risk: Understand the compound effect of good governance in decision-making

Poor governance, mostly, occurs due to a lack of awareness. Industries can be regulated, but people's behaviour must be guided. Understanding international perspectives, local guidance and the impact of ignorance will be dealt with in this presentation, with practical, relevant case studies.
