Dino Covotsos is founder and CEO of Telspace, a 100% South African-owned IT security firm, which started in 2002. Covotsos has many years of experience in the information security sector and has been involved in hundreds of information security projects worldwide. He is also a presenter at well-known local and international conferences, and is heavily involved in the security community worldwide. Covotsos is on the advisory board for the ITWeb Security Summit and has several industry certifications, such as the OSCP and OSWP.

Winston Hayden is the former President of ISACA South Africa and a recognised industry leader in the fields of information security, governance, risk, compliance, assurance & service management.

Winston is a member of the Institute of Directors and one of the contributing authors on the King III Report on Corporate Governance. He has contributed towards various IT governance publications such as the COBIT5 Governance Framework, COBIT5 for Assurance, COBIT and Application Controls, the COBIT Guide for Service Managers, COBIT Mapping to CMMi, and the RiskIT Framework. He is also a member of the South African National Standards Workgroup for IT Governance (ISO-38500) and IT Service Management (ISO-20000).

Winston has over 20 years hands-on experience in the IT industry, across various sectors, and worked with institutions such as Liberty, PWC, Nedbank, Zurich Financial Group, Alexander Forbes, Hollard Insurance, Telkom, Dimension Data, EDS, Foster-Melliar, Analytix, Abbey National Bank UK, Gensec Bank, South African National Blood Services, the Auditor General of South Africa & the United Nations.

Dr Jabu Mtsweni has research interest and technical expertise in Internet of services, software and firmware reverse engineering, malware analysis, threat intelligence, Web security and general cyber warfare. He has over 13 years’ academic and industry experience and has published over 38 peer-reviewed conferences and journal papers/articles both in local and international forums. Mtsweni has also publicly presented and actively contributed at various technology forums over the years, such as at TEDx, SADC Cybersecurity Conference, IST-Africa, South African Institute for Computer Scientists, International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security, and Information Technologists and International Information Security South Africa Conference. Mtsweni is also a co-organiser of Random Hacks of Kindness (Pretoria) and a member of the Suganang Foundation, focusing on human capital and capacity development in the ICT space. Over the years, Dr Mtsweni has received a number of research and excellence awards for his work, leadership and community engagement.

Van der Walt has been a security training advisor to the US DOD for over five years, has acted as a network security consultant for the Commonwealth Games, and co-authored numerous security books, like: The Penetration Tester's Open Source Toolkit, Stealing the Network: How to Own a Continent and Aggressive Network Self-Defence.

Van der Walt holds various accreditations, including: British Institute of Standards BS7799 Lead Auditor, CISSP, PCI Standards Council Qualified Security Assessor, as well as an IT degree and other security-related qualifications.
