Wimpie Van Rensburg is Country Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at Riverbed Technology. He has overall responsibility for sales and business strategy, execution of Riverbed’s go-to-market model, including new business development and driving closer engagement with enterprise customers and partners. Wimpie has been instrumental in ensuring continued success and accelerated growth of all Riverbed solutions in South Africa.

With over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry in various senior and management roles; Wimpie is highly respected in the industry. Prior to joining Riverbed in 2010, he held senior roles at Datacentrix and Investec. Wimpie holds a BCom in Informatics from the University of Pretoria.
