Mobile e-mail and data synchronisation provider Synchronica has received a purchase order of $176 600 for an initial 50 000-user licence from a West-African mobile operator.
The order was for its mobile e-mail product Mobile Gateway, as well as a contract for professional services, says Synchronica.
This order is Synchronica's sixth deal in Africa and overall the 13th operator contract for the company in 2009.
The operator will use Synchronica's Mobile Gateway technology to offer a push mail and mobile synchronisation service to its approximately six million subscribers.
