Hewlett-Packard`s JetDirect Internal Print Server Cards are now available from Tarsus Technologies, the distribution arm of JSE-listed MB Technologies.
"The JetDirect Print Server Card allows for the sharing of an HP enhanced input/output (EIO) printer without installing a full Ethernet network," says Traci Maynard, product manager for Hewlett-Packard Peripherals at Tarsus. According to her, printers compatible with the the JetDirect Print Server Card include: LaserJet 2100, 4000, 4050, 5000, 8000, 8100 and the ColorLaserJet 4500.
