OpenAir unveils product enhancements

OpenAir unveils product enhancements

OpenAir, a NetSuite company and provider of on-demand professional services automation software, unveiled key product enhancements to its earned value management (EVM) capabilities, says Earthtimes.

These enhancements, coupled with deeper Microsoft Project synchronisation, improve OpenAir's ability to meet the project management needs of services and technology firms, and government contractors, by providing better visibility into project health and project portfolio management and by improving project efficiency and accuracy.

"Monitoring project health and improving project prioritisation are two key imperatives for the services and technology industry," said Morris Panner, CEO of OpenAir. "We expect that our customers, especially government contractors, will enjoy tremendous benefits by gaining a more granular understanding of project investment versus benefit, as well as by being able to better prioritise scarce resources."

Telenity, CIS partner

Telenity, a provider of next-generation converged services platforms and applications for communications networks, and CIS, a consulting and system integration provider, have signed a partnership agreement to mutually serve the Middle East and African markets, states Market Watch.

Acting as a single company, Telenity and CIS aim to bring operational mobile value-added services to the market.

The result of an ongoing cooperation, this partnership will provide African carriers with access to Telenity's converged value-added services solutions with experienced localised system integration, project management, consulting and support services from CIS Group.

PMP Exam Prep turns 10

PMP Exam Prep by Rita Mulcahy, originally released as a standalone product, has had its 10-year anniversary, reports PRWeb.

The book has helped thousands of project managers prepare for The Project Management Institute's Project Management Professional exam.

The book's release in the late 1990s jump-started a then growing project management training market, now estimated to be a $1 billion per year global industry.
