Dimension Data`s former GM, Greg Vercellotti, has invested in and joined Dariel Solutions (DS) as an executive director.
DS, a local IT services company and systems integrator, focuses on the development and deployment of bespoke applications and customised integration services.
Vercellotti began his career as a software developer and is experienced in project management, sales, consulting and business division management. He headed DiData`s applications and infrastructure outsourcing business, TeamSource.
"The overlap between IT (specifically software development) and business has always been my passion; from the manner in which software can assist in achieving business objectives to focusing on how it can be utilised to deliver real business benefit to organisations.
"At DS, management has a clear strategy for retaining intelligent and experienced staff and cares about the well-being and happiness of staff. This was a key deciding factor for me, " says Vercellotti.
He is responsible for business development, marketing, strategy and positioning at DS. In addition, part of his brief will be to develop partnerships with industry leaders and market players such as Microsoft.
