Alcatel-Lucent CFO quits

Hubert de Pesquidoux, CFO and president of Alcatel-Lucent, has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities, reports Market Watch.

As of 1 December, Paul Tufano, a senior executive with 30 years of experience in international finance, will join the company as executive VP and CFO.

Tufano will be a member of the company's management committee and his office will be in the company's headquarters in Paris, France.

Mitsubishi names VP

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics has appointed Akihiro "AK" Kambara as VP of its Presentation Products Division, managing all marketing and sales activities for its projectors, data walls and flat panel LCD display products in the US and Central America, says Market Watch.

As VP, Kambara is tasked with increasing market share and profitability by capitalising on Mitsubishi Electric's technological advances, market leadership and business potential.

He will also nurture strategic business relationships with companies to stimulate positive growth overall.

Inetco board expands

Software company Inetco Systems says Michael Tasooji, executive VP and CIO of Gap, and Mercedes De Luca, global customer experience and CIO of myShape, have joined the company's board of directors, says Market Watch.

Tasooji brings with him over 20 years of leadership experience in the retail and technology environments. Previous to his current role, he worked at The Walt Disney Company, where he held the position of senior VP and CIO.

Prior to myShape, De Luca served as VP and CIO of Yahoo, responsible for infrastructure, applications, strategy, architecture and the PMO.
