Deven Pillay, COO of InfoSeal, announced today the official opening of its second office in Cape Town. "Continued interest around InfoSeal's online information and privacy assurance solutions in the Western Cape region had prompted us to ensure that InfoSeal remains visible and easily accessible to our client base, hence it made sense to open up our second office in Cape Town," explains Pillay.
Pillay says the increased interest around InfoSeal's Web site, cloud and application assurance programs had also created a further need to appoint a marketing and branding manager for InfoSeal.
Founded in 2013, InfoSeal is based at its head office in Midrand, Johannesburg, and provides online information and privacy assurance to clients and Web site users. The team comprises legal, governance, risk, compliance and information security experts who developed InfoSeal's Web site, cloud computing and application compliance programs.
Through the InfoSeal Website Compliance Program (IWCP), owners of certified Web sites can, after successful assessment, provides users with assurance that they are interacting with a legitimate Web site that complies with the IWCP requirements. This assurance demonstrates that a user's personal information is processed via a certified Web site lawfully and in a reasonable manner that does not infringe on his or her privacy. The seal then becomes a visible expression of an organisation's commitment to information and privacy management.
