Guardian Eye Lite puts surveillance in the palm of your hand

Johannesburg, 01 Sep 2014

Vox Telecom today announced the availability of Guardian Eye Lite, a plug- and-plug WiFi camera with easy smartphone access that puts home and business surveillance in the palm of your hand.

"Surveillance is no longer just for business," says Niven Perumal, product manager for Vox Telecom's Guardian Eye.

"Consumers are increasingly seeing the benefits of a surveillance and remote monitoring solution in their homes. Doubling up as baby monitors and nanny cams, consumers can now, quite literally, keep an eye on all their valuables."

Easily integrated into an existing Internet connection, the Guardian Eye Lite camera can be accessed via a mobile application on your smartphone or tablet. It is easy to install and flexible enough to be moved around the house or business, depending on where it is required.

Smart device access to live footage and push video functionality allows a user to make an immediate decision on whether to either alert armed response, negate a false alarm or allow entry to one's premises. It also contains a two-way audio communication function, enabling you to listen and talk directly to intruders in your home or business.

The camera comes with built-in memory through SD card recording so users can choose to either record 24x7 or activate the recording on motion detection. It comes standard with a dual lens with day and night modes, and superior picture quality even in low light conditions.

Concludes Perumal: "We don't believe you can put a price on security, but by putting the best-of-breed capabilities of our corporate remote monitoring solutions into Guardian Eye Lite, we think we're putting surveillance and remote monitoring within reach for even more home and business owners."
