Syrex, a specialist in the installation and support of various different network infrastructures, today announced that is has become a fully-fledged cloud and services provider including offerings such as Microsoft Azure in South Africa and is leading the way in the emergence of the 'new' age of ISPs.
"We are now able to propose both VPN and MPLS capabilities, regardless of whether the latter is private or a VMPLS via the Internet," explained Ralph Berndt of Syrex. "Our capabilities range from the initial designing of a network through to the delivery, the build and implementation, monitoring, reporting and support of the required solution, including the ability to link to whatever other service providers are deemed necessary as well as providing the relevant redundancy at all the required levels."
"We have also matured our offerings to such an extent that we are now able to support large channels who are exclusively coming to us for our value added services," continued Berndt, "and thus we have become a provider of extended cloud and data centre services to the channel. We remain vendor neutral and partner with all the key players and quite recently have become one of the select few Vodacom fibre to the business partners."
"In addition, the benefits that we offer to our clients and the channel are extensive and, for example, include the ability to be an advisory partner on how to build multi site networks across all tiers and how advanced cloud migrations should be handled; and, as a provider of a total solutions, including value added services such as converged VOIP telephony, SAAS (software as a service), disaster recovery data storage solutions and Virtual Server Platforms, that are either cloud-based, on premise or of a hybrid nature," concluded Berndt.
"We believe we are at the forefront of being able to move users from an on-premise situation to an appropriate one for the future that will in eventuality be cloud-based."
