Telkom has launched SmartInternet Unlimited, exclusively for business customers seeking unlimited mobile data.
This product offers a reliable uncapped data connection over the mobile network, and consistent high speeds of up to 2Mbps, says the operator.
Telkom notes that customers benefit from fixed monthly pricing, with no coverage restrictions. "Additionally, when used with the Huawei B593 router, a small business can connect up to 32 devices simultaneously, from one connection. No installation is needed, and the 'plug and play' solution allows for immediate use."
SmartInternet is ideal for customers outside the ADSL footprint, or in areas where there is a high incidence of cable theft, says Telkom.
"In today's fast-moving world, it is imperative that businesses are always connected and in touch. Our SmartInternet Unlimited package will help businesses to remain efficient and productive at all times," said Megan Nicholas, managing executive of mobile solutions, a division of Telkom's Business.
Nicholas says the package is an example of Telkom's continued commitment to providing business solutions that enable customers to run always on, successful, efficient and profitable operations.
As with all uncapped packages, an acceptable usage policy will apply. This means that if a customer exceeds 100GB per month, their download speeds will be throttled.
SmartInternet Unlimited costs R1 699 per month, for a 24-month contract (router included), and is exclusively available to business customers.
