ICT solutions provider, Digital Generation (DG) Store, has scooped the Dell SA Solutions Partner of the Year Award for 2014.

DG Store got the award at Dell's sixth annual Solutions Conference that happened recently in Brussels. The annual conference recognises Dell's partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for their overall performance and contribution to the growth of Dell business.

This was the second year in a row that DG won the award, which recognises its contribution of the highest enterprise revenue in the 2014 financial year. In 2013, DG also took top honours as Dell's EMEA Partner of the Year, for the part it played in the successful conclusion of one of the largest Dell SAP HANA deals globally.

Dell director for channel business in SA, David Futter, says DG's continued success and strong standing as a Dell partner resulted from its ability to continually demonstrate proven innovation and its commitment to a highly partnership-driven approach.

"It gives us great pleasure to again recognise DG for its exceptional efforts in providing collaborative solutions to our mutual customers; the company's innovative solutions around IT infrastructure and life cycle management, coupled with its exceptional customer service, are key elements in DG's ongoing success with Dell," says Futter.

According to De Villiers Wolhuter, business development manager at DG Store, the company has close working relationships with more than 250 manufacturers and suppliers.

"The partnership with Dell, which goes back almost to DG's establishment, sees the company acting as a procurer and supplier of Dell products to South African businesses, as part of its comprehensive ICT solutions provision business model. The proven success of the partnership with Dell has enabled DG Store to become the preferred IT fulfilment and consultancy for organisations in many South African industries," says Wolhuter.
