Johannesburg, 04 Dec 2014

Business Connexion has received an ITIL maturity rating of 4.25, beating a previous rating of 3.5 achieved in 2013 post an assessment conducted by Pink Elephant, a global leader in ITIL certification and IT service management education, consulting and conferences.

The scope of the assessment included 17 ITIL processes rated across the group out of a total of 26 ITIL processes.

"We are extremely excited to have received this prestigious rating, which highlights the dedication and passion with which we aim to provide world class solutions to our clients," says Isaac Mophatlane, CEO of Business Connexion. "The rating further cements our position as the leading IT Service Management organisation on the African continent," he adds.

ITIL best practices advocates that IT services are aligned to the needs of the business and support its core processes. It provides guidance to organisations and individuals on how to use IT as a tool to facilitate business change, transformation and growth.

"The targeted maturity level for organisations is 4.00 and our 4.25 rating means our maturity as an organisation is above industry standard. Furthermore it reiterates our commitment of ensuring we have the proper skills set to deliver world-class services and solutions," concludes Mophatlane.
