Advanced Projects and People (APP) and Khauleza IT Solutions (Khauleza) announce a strategic partnership. APP and Khauleza, both like-minded enterprises, are in search of business growth that will allow the opportunity to deliver on their visions of providing high quality, cost-effective and industry leading solutions and services, while delivering to the country's need for job creation, supplier development and economic growth.

The combined management teams of these organisations realised the opportunity to deliver this exists by partnering to provide high quality network solutions nationally.

The current ICT infrastructure landscape within SA provides the ideal vehicle for the delivery of network solutions and services, while supporting the requirements of the National Development Plan (NDP) for Enterprise Supplier Development & Localisation (ESD&L).

Both Khauleza and APP specialise in structured network cabling solutions and have highly skilled and experienced management and execution teams that have successfully delivered large-scale structured network cabling projects and solutions nationally, across multiple industries and verticals and spanning various technologies. "This partnership creates a stronger national footprint spanning all nine provinces within South Africa and allows both organisations to leverage off one another to provide national solutions to current and future customers," says Vinoden Govender, CEO at Advanced Projects and People.

Both APP and Khauleza are proudly South African companies that are committed to contributing to the country's development. In the last three years of business, the companies have followed a programme to ensure the upliftment of various B-BBEE SME companies throughout South Africa. "This model allows for the growth of SMEs within the communities where the services are needed and saves cost on travel and response time. This extended community of SMEs is now available to both companies to utilise in the execution of services. The companies remain fully committed to their SME partners," says Melusi Gumbi, Executive: ICT Operations at Khauleza IT Solutions.

The companies have partnered with leaders in the industry to offer the supply, delivery and installation of ICT network infrastructure solutions, and subscribe to the following six focus areas:

* Economic growth engine;
* Employer, job creator and capabilities developer;
* Impact on local communities;
* Environmental footprint;
* Enabler of South African economic and social development through network provision; and
* Catalyst for change in South Africa.

Both companies have a vision to change gear to achieve higher performance and further increase its positive impact on South Africa, while reducing the negative environmental burden, and plan to use the partnership as a vehicle to achieve this. "There exists a proven track record in empowering previously disadvantaged groups - and an ongoing commitment to executing true black empowerment. A very strong emphasis is placed on broad-based black economic empowerment with associates that have a formidable footprint, skill and capability to meet the service requirements," says Gumbi. Both APP and Khauleza are currently level one B-BBEE contributors and remain fully committed to supporting B-BBEE and ESD&L.

The companies have flexible and innovative teams with a focus on building enduring customer relationships and delivering a quality service, and truly understand the ICT infrastructure requirements within the South African landscape, and the role to be played in providing the services. "We are confident that we have the know-how and the required experience to deliver as per your requirements and expectations. We have the appropriately qualified resources that will ensure seamless delivery, and our experience within South Africa, along with our critical mass of skilled local resources, will reduce your risk and will allow us to undertake the work at a fair price," says Govender.
