DataTegra meets Imperial Auto's unique needs, flexibility

Imperial Auto needed to find a single solution to cater for 140 different branches, all of which have their own unique IT security requirements. Head office wanted to take charge of the overall management of the infrastructure, but each product it researched required multiple licences for each different group.

Imperial Auto found this to be a time-consuming managerial headache and required a single software solution that could cover each branch of the business and meet its individual needs. Previously, Imperial Auto's IT division was trying to manage multiple solutions to cater for encryption, patch management, application white listing, mobile device management and system network admission control.

Solution

Kaspersky Lab's advanced tier delivered the protection and management solution Imperial Auto required to enforce its IT policy, keep users free from malware, prevent data loss, and enhance its IT efficiency.

As with any business, the security cost and management of any solution is important. KESB Advanced met all the requirements, and its powerful built-in enterprise-class features simplified the overall management and provided the tools for head office to ensure each of the 140 branches met the required IT security policies. All this was done with a one-licence solution.

Results

Imperial Auto's diverse and complex IT environment now runs with ease, thanks to the volume of essential, day-to-day systems management reports. This minimises the man-hours required by Imperial Auto. The multi-layer defences deliver impressive results without needing to resort to multiple products.
