Managing the modern data centre presents a host of challenges, and managers responsible for data centres are feeling the pressure. The data centre of yesterday is no longer enough for the evolving business of today.

ITWeb's inaugural Data Centres: The Next Frontier event, to be held in Johannesburg on 21 and 22 July, will cover pressing data centre management topics that will help IT professionals manage capacity, increase efficiency and improve system availability in their data centre operations.

Themed "Redefining the data centre", at the event, local and international experts will provide in-depth coverage of data centres, including insight into the latest trends in cloud, storage, environmental controls, scalability, efficiency, density, serviceability and other IT forces making new demands on the data centre.

Delegates attending the event will also hear case studies from leading industry practitioners and gain valuable advice to help them overcome the data centre management challenges they face on a day-to-day basis.

Display stands will be on show throughout the summit, exhibiting the latest in products and services from solutions providers.
