Yealink, the global leading unified communication (UC) terminal solution provider, and Far South Networks, a world leading designer and manufacturer of IP telephony platforms, jointly announced today that Yealink's Diamond IP conference phone CP860 as well as the T2 series of enterprise-grade IP Phones successfully completed interoperability testing (IOT) with Far South Networks Com.X IP PBX. The announcement highlights the two companies' continuing efforts to deliver robust and affordable VOIP solutions to service providers and end-users in South Africa.
Using open standards and architectures, Far South Networks' solutions are well known for localisation based on South Africa's conditions and market demands. Yealink and Far South Networks first started IOT collaboration in 2011 and jointly announced deepened collaboration in 2013. Yealink released its first CP860 and the upgraded T2 series with V72/V80 firmware earlier this year. The newly tested units achieved an impressive 100% rating on the Com.X platform.
Yealink's Diamond IP Conference Phone CP860 is intended for small- to medium-sized meeting rooms. The award-winning unit provides "diamond clear" voice performance and multiple industry-unique features, such as call linkage with PC or mobile softphones, USB recording and conferencing for up to five parties.
Yealink's upgraded T2 series of enterprise-grade IP Phones, which includes the SIP-T29G, SIP-T27P, SIP-T23G and SIP-T21P E2 models, give business users the highest audio quality at affordable prices. The phone models are compact, easy to deploy, and equipped with advanced features that help increase communication efficiency and productivity.
