Bidvest Office combines world-leading products with top local expertise

Johannesburg, 05 Aug 2015

The Bidvest Office division of international services, trading and distribution company, Bidvest, has brought the combination of internationally recognised office automation products and the country's leading service excellence to the South African market.

Earlier this year, Bidvest Office announced that it would be enhancing its range of digital multifunctional printers with the introduction of the Samsung ProXpress M4070 multifunctional printer (MFP). This monochrome range recently won the coveted Monochrome Printer/MFP Line of the Year Award at the 2015 Buyers Laboratory (BLI) Winter Awards, for the second consecutive year.

The Samsung machines are serviced and supported by the local Bidvest group company, Konica Minolta South Africa, a division of Bidvest Office, which also underwrites the product warranties.

"BLI recognised Samsung's dedication to creating an MFP range that can improve both productivity and efficiency, while remaining cost effective," says Andrew Griffith, product manager for Office Products. "At the same time, Konica Minolta South Africa was named as the country's number one player within the local multifunctional printer market by market data specialist InfoSource once again, retaining its position as a trusted, reliable document management partner that can add value, has proven expertise and can provide an offering that goes beyond the provision of hardware to include effective software and ongoing support.

"Teaming up these award winning Samsung devices with Konica Minolta South Africa's proven customer service excellence provides local customers with an unprecedented combination," he adds. "This strong technical and services backing is particularly critical within the business-to-business office automation market."
