Crystal Web slashes business pricing

Johannesburg, 05 Aug 2015

Crystal Web has launched a new data special targeting small to medium enterprises, and it promises to be the most affordable business data in South Africa.

At just R1.50/GB for premium business capped data, it represents a 67% reduction in price versus normal retail costing for the same product and the cheapest business data in South Africa. In addition, Crystal Web is offering one month free for all new business clients.

"The Epic Business Special forms part of our SME development strategy and coincides with the re-launch of our business product range," says Crystal Web CEO Shaun Kaplan. "What we've been able to achieve with our business product range is a homogenous set of products designed for all levels of connectivity requirements. Even at our R1.50/GB price-point, this product receives top priority on our network, making it ideal for high demand business connectivity and ensures that contentions are not felt, which is something unique in the DSL landscape right now."

Crystal Web's business product range extends further than its DSL products, with the recent introduction of dedicated, uncontended business fibre broadband, VPN, cloud hosting, voice over IP, and application streaming. Products like fibre broadband and cloud hosting have historically proved difficult ROI propositions to justify to most businesses; however, Crystal Web's investments into its network and deep commercial partnership strategies are set to change that, explains Kaplan.

"We're now able to offer free fibre installation countrywide and on a dedicated basis for the same price as our competitors' contended fibre broadband costs, which is a significant evolution of the product offering in South Africa. By doing so, we ensure that cloud hosted services operate as intended. The ultimate goal has always been to be able to move operating systems into the cloud and allow our clients to move their existing applications into the cloud without any code manipulation or changes, whether they're designed for the cloud or not. This is something we're now able to introduce to the market and completely changes the way businesses work."

Crystal Web OS Cloud allows you to move your operating system environments into the cloud with very low data throughput requirements, and Crystal Web True Application Cloud allows you to move any application into a cloud-hosted environment without having to rewrite the code for these. "Crystal Web's Business Solutions now allow for dedicated fibre broadband access, on-Net cloud hosting, application streaming, VOIP, and VPN solutions as integrated services from a single provider, at price-points that finally make it attainable for SMEs, and further reduce the costs to enterprise clients."

Crystal Web offers free feasibility analysis direct on its Web site for all business customers, and their Epic Business Special is limited and set to end at the end of August 2015.
