The new solid ink ColorQube 8880 printer from Xerox, represented locally by Bytes Document Solutions, the largest Xerox distributor in the world, is a flexible, waste-conscious solution for businesses that need optimal colour performance in a smaller carbon footprint.

"The ColorQube 8880 colour printer means big savings on colour printing thanks to its incredibly low total cost of ownership, so you can afford to print all your documents in eye-catching colour," says Ernest Leong, OPB product manager in the Xerox Division at Bytes Document Solutions. "You get a powerful, no-fuss printing solution that delivers exceptional colour quality, consistently."

The new device is highly efficient, equipped with Intelligent Ready technology that tracks office usage patterns and automatically moves to a low power setting when the device is least likely to be used - optimising energy usage. In addition, easy-to-use print drivers allow businesses to choose the most environmentally conscious print options that fit their needs - producing less waste and less impact. Packaging for the printer and solid ink sticks create up to 90% less waste, have up to 30% lower life cycle energy demand and a carbon footprint that's up to 30% smaller than comparable laser printers.

The ColorQube 8880 delivers cost savings and more colour performance. Flexible pricing plans and environmentally-friendly GreenPrint solutions enable businesses to print only the documents they need and at prices they can afford. The 8880 prints up to 51 pages-per-minute in colour or black and white, with first page output in as little as five seconds. Equipped with Xerox 2400 FinePoint resolution and intuitive colour correction technology, the 8880 delivers quick, consistent, high-quality results businesses expect.

"The device features automatic two-sided printing and the N-up feature, which allows users to print multiple pages on a single sheet - reducing the cost of replacing paper and ink," adds Leong.

The ColorQube 8880 is certified by the Mopria Alliance, an organisation that promotes, simplifies and increases accessibility of wireless printing from smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices. Printing on the go is made easier without having to manually connect to a device or install software.
