EMC Southern Africa appoints Chipo Msimanga as Channel Sales Team Lead: Gauteng

EMC Southern Africa has appointed Chipo Msimanga as its Channel Sales Team Lead for the Gauteng region.

With more than 20 years' experience in IT sales, Msimanga joined EMC in May 2014. Her career spans channel and direct sales roles across the spectrum of sales segments - enterprise, mid-market and public sector. Msimanga held business development roles with IBM and Dell before joining EMC Southern Africa.

In her new role, Msimanga is responsible for incremental business from EMC's new logo accounts and will be working closely with the company's strong base of channel partners.

"I am passionate about unlocking new customers and building long-term relationships with them," Msimanga says. "I am also a strong believer in being a brand ambassador, being the reason why partners and customers will buy EMC. Partners and customers come first in my book."
