The 2015 MyBroadband Awards winners were announced yesterday at the annual MyBroadband Conference at Gallagher Convention Centre in Midrand.

The Awards revealed Neotel as the overall winner of the top fixed broadband service in the country. The MyBroadband Awards recognise excellence in the South African broadband and telecommunications industry.

The awards are based on four quarterly consumer surveys, where broadband subscribers rate their broadband connections, their Internet service providers, and other aspects of the local IT industry and value for money. The winner is selected based on the average performance over the full year.

Survey participants were IT professionals and other tech-savvy individuals, with a strong knowledge of South Africa's broadband market.
