Grade 12 learners can now access subject material for revision purposes anytime on their mobile phones, tablets, laptops and PCs via X-kit Achieve Mobile.
Launched by Pearson South Africa, X-kit Achieve Mobile is an on-the-go revision and practice solution that allows learners to revise content anywhere.
It includes Grade 12 subjects English, Mathematics, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, isiXhosa Home Language, isiZulu Home Language, Afrikaans Home Language, Afrikaans Additional Language and Accounting.
"Mobile devices are part of our learners' lives. We wanted to develop an exam preparation tool that meets learners where they are, but is also of the highest quality and based on solid theoretical frameworks of learning," says Steve Vosloo, head of mobile at Pearson South Africa.
Pearson SA says all quiz questions are structured according to cognitive levels as per curriculum assessment policy and exam guidelines. Learners progress through difficulty levels as they move towards master status.
The package includes free quizzes on all topics. Additional quizzes and features can be purchased at R5 per topic, which can be deducted from airtime.
Also included in X-kit Achieve Mobile are subjects for Grades Eight and Nine, with new subjects and grades added constantly.
