Datatex Dynamics, a telecommunications software company specialising in call recorder solutions and telephone management systems, today announced iReCall Mobile Recording, which is part of iReCall, the company's call recording and telephone management system, which in turn is powered by Amethyst*, its industrial strength call recorder.

You do not need Amethyst to use iReCall Mobile; however, it is used to manage the solution in the cloud, thus giving access to some of the advanced features available in Amethyst through the Web interface.

If you already own Amethyst, you can have your iReCall mobile recordings forwarded to your Amethyst server.

"What makes iReCall Mobile Recording different to other mobile recording solutions is the extensive emphasis that has been placed on security, accessibility, compliancy, simplicity and individual privacy in company use," explained Johan Landman of Datatex. "iReCall Mobile Recording complies with all best business practices related to the security and privacy of call recordings and includes AES 256bit encryption, checksums and the protection of private information.

"iReCall Mobile Recording can easily be used as a company recording tool for mobile staff, even on individually owned phones. For instance, blacklisting and white listing allows the individual to manage their own privacy in deciding whose calls are being recorded or not; and there are also settings to control access to recordings, including no access, user only access and group access," continued Landman. "As iReCall is part of the Amethyst suite, there are also options to do proper agent quality management on calls recorded on mobile phones. Devices can be linked to any number of groups and hierarchy structures, including branches, departments and cost centres to manage and control access.

"Other capabilities include an unlimited number of calls per month; the access to recording from any mobile phone or computer with an account login; the ability for upload recordings to use WiFi only or both WiFi and a data bundle; the facility for an unlimited number of mobile phones to be added to a single account; and the means for devices linked to individual accounts to be grouped into a single account for shared access and listening," concluded Landman. "In addition, local playback cache time can be set, which saves time in downloading recordings for consecutive playbacks, and remote locking of recording and listening functionality is available via the iReCall Web interface."

* Amethyst is Datatex's Web-based call recording system and quality management tool specifically designed to meet the needs of customer-facing contact centres, whether outsourced or managed in-house.
