Business Connexion scoops top Cisco awards

Johannesburg, 04 Mar 2016

Business Connexion and parent company Telkom have scooped a number of prestigious Cisco Awards at the Global Cisco Partner Summit in San Diego, California.

This premier Cisco Partner event, which took place from 29 February to 3 March 2016, hosts Cisco's top partners from around the globe to celebrate their successes and collaborate on future solutions across different industries. This invite-only partner gathering offers opportunities for executive networking, strategy discussions, technology updates and business leadership development.

During the Global Awards Ceremony, Business Connexion was recognised as Africa Partner of the Year, Capital Partner of the Year and Services Partner of the Year. Last year, Business Connexion also became the first South African company to be named Cisco Services Partner of the Year: EMEAR (Europe, Middle East, Africa and Russia) at the One African Partner Summit. In addition to that, Business Connexion's parent company, Telkom, received the Cloud Partner of the Year as well as the Architecture and Collaboration Partner of the Year awards.

The annual awards recognise Cisco's top performing channel partners worldwide and are designed to recognise best-in-class business practices around the globe that serve as a model for the industry.

"These awards are testimony to the combined possibilities that exist for us within the Telkom Group through our ability to provide end-to-end ICT solutions on the African continent," says Isaac Mophatlane, CEO of Business Connexion. "Since becoming a Cisco Gold Partner in 1998, we have consistently maintained our high standards of delivery in providing Cisco solutions, continuously driving value for both our clients and our partners," he concludes.
