Following the launch of its latest flagship smartphones in March, Samsung unveiled its Galaxy S7 studio at Nelson Mandela Square in Johannesburg last night.
The Galaxy S7 studio ? which displays various Samsung gear, including the new Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones, smart watches, Gear VR headsets and Samsung's 360-degree videos for virtual reality, the Gear 360 ? will be open to the public in Gauteng.
The studio also displays some of Samsung's historic devices, such as the company's first satellite TV phone, the first camera phone and the first Galaxy smartphone.
Michelle Potgieter, director for corporate marketing and communications at Samsung Electronics, says SA is the seventh country to have the Galaxy S7 studio.
"What the studio is all about is to give normal South African consumers in Gauteng the opportunity to see how they can turn ordinary everyday tasks into extraordinary experiences with Samsung technology," she says.
The Galaxy S7 studio is open from 7 to 30 April.
