South Africa's leading value-added distributor, Networks Unlimited, has opened a head office servicing its African business in Mauritius. The company was encouraged to make this move by the growing demand for its products throughout the continent. It currently operates across 23 countries in Africa.
"Our new African head office just outside Port Louis is now established and we'll soon open another local transactional office on the ground in order to further develop the continent's channel," says Anton Jacobsz, managing director at Networks Unlimited.
He highlights that Africa remains a solid focus area for the company, and the new office will employ local operational, channel and support staff.
"Our on-the-ground presence in the capital cities such as Kenya and Mauritius provides us with the right footing to steadily expand our business, and better serve and support our African channel partners and customers. Our next key area is West Africa," adds Jacobsz.
