For tomorrow only, users will be able to browse the Internet at any of the thousands of AlwaysOn WiFi hotspots across SA.

To mark this year's Freedom Day on 27 April, AlwaysOn is offering citizens free Internet access at thousands of its hotspots and SuperWiFi locations across the country.

Valid for this Wednesday only, users will be able to access uncapped WiFi and freely browse the Internet during the public holiday.

According to AlwaysOn: "With SuperWiFi, you [users] can watch videos, download apps, and do all the cool things that need a high-speed connection, without draining your personal data."

To allow users to stay connected for the entire Freedom Day public holiday, the Internet Solutions-owned WiFi provider has provided a few steps to follow first.

Citizens will first need to use the hotspot finder on the AlwaysOn Web site to find the nearest hotspot.

Once a user has found an AlwaysOn hotspot, they will need to switch on the device's WiFi and search for AlwaysOn among the available WiFi networks, and then connect to it.

Once this is done, the user can open a browser and will be directed to the AlwaysOn dashboard when they search, which will be followed by the user filling in details to create an account, then log in.
