Axis appoints a Business Development Manager for Africa

Barry Howell

Global leader in network video surveillance, Axis Communications, has appointed Barry Howell as their new Business Development Manager for Africa.

Howell, who will be based in the company's Johannesburg, South Africa office will be focusing on developing new business and potential partners for Axis Africa, which means engaging with consultants, architects and engineers.

Apart from Howell's role as Business Development Manager, he is also involved in the Axis Architecture & Engineering (A&E) programme which is used to build strong relationships and ensuring that Axis' products is specified in the early stages of projects. Thus the developing of new business' and potential partners for Axis across Africa.

Born and bred in the Free State, Howell has worked in the construction and engineering industry for six years and has worked for two of the major construction/engineering companies in Africa, Stoncor Africa and NUI as a Product and A&E Manager.
