VCS to showcase Xerox solutions at Seychelles' National Show

Johannesburg, 24 Jun 2016

VCS, the authorised Xerox distributor for the Seychelles, has chosen the National Show as a platform from which to showcase its latest Xerox technologies and offerings.

As a platform for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) commercial exchange, the National Show, which takes place from 26 to 29 June, is the biggest marketing platform available in the Seychelles.

According to Stephen Faure, Xerox Business Manager at VCS, this will be the fourth edition of a show organised annually to celebrate the country's National Day. The 2016 edition, he explains, will be extra special because it will coincide with the 40th anniversary of the independence of Seychelles from Great Britain.

"It is therefore a great honour for VCS to take part in the National Show and this platform will allow us to have all the latest Xerox technologies and offerings on display. We feel it is extremely important to have the opportunity to showcase these solutions, as it will enable us to maintain our position as a market leader," Faure says.

"Perhaps the most notable solution that will be on display is the new Xerox ConnectKey 2.0. The ConnectKey technology ecosystem is a combination of hardware and a common set of software solutions and apps developed by Xerox to help simplify and improve the way our customers work. With this in mind, we would also like to take this opportunity to invite all our existing and prospective customers to come and visit our stand and see what the new version has to offer."

With over 200 exhibitors taking part, it is anticipated that the 2016 edition of the National Show will be even bigger and more successful than the previous event held in 2015, with an estimated 30 000 visitors expected to attend.

According to Olivier Merven, Regional Manager for Africa Operations at Bytes Document Solutions, VCS is one of its key African partners.

"VCS has been on a fantastic growth journey in recent times, and its Xerox business alone has achieved year-on-year growth in the higher double digits over each of the last four years. This can be attributed to steady growth in all its various product lines."

"In addition, VCS has recently been accredited to provide managed print services (MPS), which allows its customers to take advantage of the significant benefits of a Xerox MPS solution. The National Show will therefore be the ideal stage for them to showcase their latest Xerox technologies and services - including ConnectKey 2.0 and MPS - as well as serving as a platform for customers to get to know the company's passionate and dedicated Xerox team," notes Merven.

VCS recently received recognition and appreciation for 'Overall Outstanding Performance' at the Bytes Document Solutions Africa Operations Awards evening.
