A division of Bidvest Office, Konica Minolta South Africa, introduces its new bizhub C308 and C368 models to the already well-established colour bizhub e-series. Delivering quality, reliability and productivity, the new multifunctionals answer a variety of business needs, focusing in particular on the mobility of knowledge workers, with key features including mobile and cloud support and device management, amongst others.

As a market leader in integrated office colour communication solutions, Konica Minolta continuously upgrades and updates not only its range of innovative applications but also its hardware product portfolio. As such, the new models offer sophisticated functionality and top quality colour speeds of 30 and 36 ppm respectively.

Working using the bizhub C308 and C368 is seamless; thanks to the intuitive operation panels with integrated mobile touch area. The embedded Near Field Communication (NFC) enables users to pair their mobile devices for convenient authentication, allowing printing and scanning documents directly to and from mobile devices without using a PC. Overall, the various enhancements make operating these colour systems very similar to using any modern smartphones or tablets, as they are completely self-explanatory.

Another convenient feature within these devices is that the panel and printer driver interface can be customised to each user's individual needs and requirements, making users even more efficient in their daily print, scan and copy tasks. At the same time, IT administrators benefit from using these machines, as they are straightforward and allow for network integration.

Konica Minolta's PageScope mobile app offers another chance to increase the overall mobility of office staff. Taking advantage of this mobile device app, which is available free-of-charge, users can smoothly connect their smartphones and tablets to the bizhub C308 or C368 and enjoy convenient and hassle-free printing and scanning jobs to and from their mobile device - from any location.

"This new office machines give customers a perfect opportunity to smoothly integrate colour and flexibility into their very own working style. Mobile workers in particular benefit from the ability to pair their mobile devices in order to conveniently authenticate, print and scan," explains Greg Griffith, product manager at Konica Minolta South Africa. "We are proud to offer customers from every line of business more comprehensive solutions for their daily office tasks. Thanks to the consequent focus on solution connectivity, the new bizhub C308 and C368 integrate easily and smoothly into any kind of business process."

Equally important, the bizhub C308 and C368 are sustainable products with integrated state-of-the-art technology, which among others ensures a competitive low power consumption. In sleep mode, for example, the power consumption could be reduced to less than 0.5 watt. At the same time, more than 25% of the hardware casing is made of recycled materials. These are just two of various factors that support reduced CO2emissions during the manufacture and use of the bizhub C308/C368. Besides the aspect of eco-friendliness, this also translates to lower energy costs and, in turn, attractive savings.
