Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa is once again the official sponsor of the One Wingz Golf Day for 2016, an annual charity golfing event hosted by Hot 91.9FM and internet radio station, Ballz Visual Radio. This follows its successful sponsorship of the 2015 event, which raised R800 000 for the Mark Scott Foundation and R85 000 for motor neuron disease sufferer and former rugby legend, Joost van der Westhuizen.
The annual charity golfing day raises funds for the Mark Scott Trust, a social and community outreach effort that brings support and positive change people to people and organisations that need a helping hand.
To be held on 24 August at the Els Club in Copperleaf, the One Wingz Golf Day will see supporters and celebrity guests gather for four-ball golf matches and a day of fun, food and entertainment. The Els Club is the second 'Signature' Ernie Els designed golf course in South Africa and tests the skills and fortitude of even the best golfers.
Says Wayne Holborn, managing director at Kyocera Document Solutions South Africa: "One Wingz of Change is a wonderful initiative, and we're delighted to support it. The One Wingz Golf Day brings together so many things we're passionate about: sports, teamwork and helping to create a better future for our country. We were delighted by the success of the last Golf Day and the funds it raised to help people in need, and hope that it will do even better this year."
