Mint Group victorious as Microsoft's Application Development Partner of the Year

Microsoft Gold partner leads with application development.

In yet another demonstration of Mint's culture of being 'first', the global technology consultancy was announced as Microsoft's Application Development Partner of the Year at the technology giant's annual partner awards, hosted at the Gallagher Conference Centre, in Midrand, on 24 August 2016.

The Application Development Partner of the Year award recognises a partner comprising multiple references as well as showcasing an application that passed the Microsoft Azure, Windows Server 2012 R2, or Windows Phone application tests. In addition, a Microsoft Partner Network status of Silver or Gold is required.

Mint is the leader in the application development field with a gold Microsoft partner network status. In addition, its Cloud, Application and Mobile development practice together with its products business, .go, enjoyed multiple deployments for the 2016 financial year for various industries, such as financial services, tested data and mining.

Collectively, Mint's CAM and .go practices also accumulated more than R20-million of revenue in licensing and services, and innovated a mobile-first product ecosystem which rendered the release of industry-first solutions, enabling disruption across industry verticals possible.

He adds that Mint's top customer differentiator is the full agile approach the organisation follows with development opportunities, application lifecycle management and full security standards coupled with the organisation's micro-services reference architecture utilised in all its ISV products.

Reflecting on the monumental operational growth that Mint Group enjoyed over the last financial year. go ISV Executive, Yvonne Dias, highlights that the Application Development Award recognises the hard work, dedication and passion that Mint's employees and partners invest in its solutions and deployments. Dias concludes that Mint is a ceaseless organisation. "We will never stop innovating, disrupting or aspiring to new heights and look forward to continuously achieving more with Microsoft."
