Genii Analytics launches artificial intelligence prediction models for consumer behaviours

Following the successful MBO from Pivotal Capital in October 2016, Genii Analytics has launched its ground breaking prediction models focusing on consumer behaviours to improve consumer sales, customer service and customer retentions. By using artificial intelligence through machine learning and prediction algorithms, Genii AI predicts consumer services demand, consumer churn and sales propensity for Top 500 Companies.

"AI and Machine Learning is nothing new, but applying AI to solve business challenges, with a clear ROI, is quite unique in the customer services arena" says Kobus van der Westhuizen, CEO of Genii AI.

"We focus on prediction modelling that will assist the B2C companies to improve and transform their approach to sales, customer service and customer retention". Genii AI are already building models for large brands in South Africa and the United Kingdom. The company is experiencing a big growth in demand for models that are improving business challenges in a way that is simple and practical. The challenge with Big Data and Predictive models is that it is difficult to demonstrate ROI on the investments by large companies. Genii AI's solutions are simple, actionable and the improvements can be achieved over a short period.

Van der Westhuizen also states, "Our commercial models are based on "Insights As A Service" (IAAS) and in many cases we will back ourselves by partnering with our clients on gain share".

Genii AI have labs in Cape Town and Johannesburg, which currently consist of 22 employees with a strong combination of skills and experience. This skill and experience consist of software engineers, system architects, data analysts, business analysts and data scientists.

Genii AI is continuing its normal analytics offerings, providing interaction analytics, customer experience analytics and contact centre analytics to Top 500 companies in the mobile telecoms, financial services, retail, healthcare and utilities verticals. "These solutions have seen a significant growth over the past two years and will remain our bedrock revenues over the next few years, as there is still a growing demand for this. We do however foresee that the demand for AI and predictive analytics will be our biggest growth contributor".

Except for Genii AI's established labs in South Africa, they are now also in the process of structuring labs in Dubai, UK and Melbourne, through local partnerships in those countries. They have just completed a second round of funding to enable the global market expansion, as well as R&D.
