International mobile technology conference, MoCo Moments, will take place in Cape Town next month.
Scheduled for 14 November at the V&A Waterfront, the event will feature speakers Arthur Goldstuck, MD of World Wide Worx; Joana Picq, ?head of international business development at Jampp; and Brett StClair, head of digital at Barclays. There will also be round-table workshops.
The talks will focus on the future of mobile, mobile marketing and mobile services.
MoCo Moments has already held events in Brussels, London and Paris. It was launched last year and was founded by Dutch mobile services company CM Telecom.
CM Telecom SA country manager James Bayhack says Cape Town will be the first MoCo Moments event outside Europe.
"Without question, mobile is the future, so for me, MoCo is the perfect environment to start conversations and thought leadership."
He says MoCo Moments is differentiated from other mobile conferences because it is not trying to sell attendees a product.
Coordinator Anneloes Henskens plans to expand MoCo Moments and will soon launch events in Johannesburg, Brussels and Hong Kong.
