EnterpriseWorx announces new developments in their streamlined database management tool designed specifically to work within Microsoft SQL Server enterprise environments - Conductor4SQL. The solution gives organisations the ability to manage their SQL Server installations with improved efficiency, allowing for improvements in productivity, data synchronisation, real-time reporting, automation, and resiliency. In addition to a rich feature set and functionality, Conductor4SQL is also compatible with databases resident in Microsoft Azure (IAAS).
"Conductor4SQL is ideal for any organisation which has a significant SQL Server set-up with hundreds or thousands of instances," explains Sean Longhurst, Conductor4SQL product lead, director, EnterpriseWorx. "It is designed to make the monitoring and administering of such large environments into simple and easy tasks which can be handled by just one person, and from a single point. Some of the benefits include real-time reporting, data synchronising, distributed SQL Server queries and commands, system standardisation, and centralised auditing."
Conductor4SQL has already seen significant successes at some of South Africa's most well-known organisations and retailers. It cuts back on the time spent monitoring and managing a SQL Server environment and allows for skilled IT staff to spend more time on elements which add value to the business. It ensures streamlined auditing of any SQL Server environment so that compliance and legal changes can be undertaken quickly and efficiently. The organisation can clean up their environment in a fraction of the time it usually takes, on demand.

Conductor4SQL was developed using the Microsoft guaranteed queuing messaging platform which ensures that should systems go offline, work is queued and held until such time as systems are back online. If there is a power or network failure, the work will be automatically actioned when systems are restored. As of early 2016, Conductor4SQL is also Azure compliant, capable of supporting the organisation on-premises, in the cloud and with hybrid installations. It is designed to provide the enterprise with seamless support in all environments regardless of when it plans to move from on-premises to the cloud.
