Datacentrix, a provider of high performing and secure ICT solutions, triumphed at the recent annual Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) awards, securing four awards, including the prestigious title of overall Partner of the Year.

The company also clinched the Platinum Partner of the Year award, as well as Cloud Partner of the Year and Best Performing Coastal Partner.

"Being named as HPE South Africa's Partner of the Year reaffirms our commitment to the HPE strategy and once again demonstrates our dedication to what is one of Datacentrix' most important partnerships," explains Tony de Sousa, Datacentrix business unit manager: Enterprise.

"Importantly, these awards highlight the fact that, while our traditional business with HPE has remained solid, we have also made inroads into new areas, including the cloud sector. Over the past year, we have seen great interest in both hybrid and private cloud technology, while also doubling storage year-on-year.

"From a market point of view, we have experienced great uptake within the financial services sector while supplying the public sector with a substantial amount of equipment. In addition, the Coastal Partner of the Year award proves that our successful partnership with HPE has grown beyond the Gauteng region," he adds.

"With its Platinum status, Datacentrix is a highly strategic partner for HPE South Africa," states Pieter Bensch, HPE South Africa MD. "The success of this relationship is underlined by the awards garnered by the company each year. 2016 was no exception, with these titles emphasising Datacentrix' strong business performance, exceptional accreditation and skills levels."
