Westcon-Comstor to provide real view of 'customer experience' at Cisco Connect 2017

Johannesburg, 21 Feb 2017

Westcon-Comstor Southern Africa's Comstor division will be providing customers attending this year's Cisco Connect event a unique view of how customer experiences can be better delivered in a digitally transformative world.

"Because of the rapid evolution of technology, as well as digital transformation, companies are becoming increasingly disconnected to their customers," states Louise Taute, Comstor Director at Westcon-Comstor Southern Africa.

"As the leading distributor of Cisco products and solutions on the African continent, our goal at this year's Cisco Connect is to offer customers a view of exactly what it means to delight their own customer. We aim to achieve this by showcasing solutions that will help not only to transform business processes and make them more digital, but that also empower customers and customer interactions."

Cisco Connect is the vendor company's premier annual event, providing insight into business problems and matching technologies to help solve these. The event will be held in Sun City from 5 to 7 March 2017, and will attract strategic technology partners, members of its channel, including resellers and distributors, as well as customers.

This year's theme is centred on "emulating real things, real people and real technology all connected securely". As a sponsor of the event, the local Comstor team will use the event to highlight to partners and customers exactly how, by being connected, they can gear themselves to building a digitally ready business.

"Our customers can use the Cisco Connect platform to come and engage with the Comstor team first-hand, while at the same time enjoying carefully crafted experiences that we have built around specific experiential themed stands. We are hoping to not only highlight how digital disruption can be good for your business, but have a bit of fun at the same time," adds Taute.

Partners and customers looking to be part of Cisco Connect 2017 can register at https://secure.virtualcreations.co.za/CiscoConnect2017/default.aspx.
