Andrew Meyer is one such individual, and Britehouse Group is proud to announce his appointment as Regional Manager for Britehouse Eastern Cape. Having lived in the Eastern Cape for the better part of his life, Meyer has a strong affinity to the region and has, for several years, been a brand ambassador for the Touch Africa Charity, whose core focus is previously disadvantaged learners in the region.
With 10 years of operational experience in Dimension Data's Applications business, Meyer started as a PMO Manager in 2006, before progressing to Operations Executive for Britehouse Coastal Region in 2016.
During this time, he served on the Executive Management team, which now forms a successful division of the Britehouse Group, and participated in the Dimension Data Leadership Forum, which defines and executes the Dimension Data business strategy. He has also contributed significantly to the growth of a Dimension Data start-up business, the focus on which was on the development and implementation of a global ERP FMCG template.
In his new role as Regional Manager, Meyer brings this wealth of experience to growing Britehouse Eastern Cape. "My intention is to ensure that we will be able to represent the end-to-end value stack offering of the Dimension Data group, engage more fully with our clients on all levels in their organisations, and deliver our purpose of 'accelerating their ambitions'," says Meyer.
Given that Britehouse Eastern Cape operates from within the Dimension Data family, Meyer is confident the region will successfully represent the technology towers of communications, end-user computing, network as a platform, next-generation data centre, and security as complementary to the digital and application offering.
