UK headquartered change management solutions company, Changefirst will be officially introduced to the South African market tomorrow.

Founded in 1995, in the UK by CEO and founder, David Miller, the company says it aims to establish itself as the leading B2B brand, providing cloud-based change management solutions within the global change management, consulting and learning markets.

"Our mission in SA and Africa is to enable organisations to implement change successfully. The integration of our programs and experience with digital technology means that we can now deliver these capabilities exponentially to more organisations using e-change, a cloud based platform, which provides a broad set of transformation tools packaged with expert services. This enables organisations to easily create, deploy and manage a change management programme," adds the company.

Andrew le Cordeur managing director of Changefirst SA, says the SA market is untapped and not previously represented by on demand cloud-based change management solutions.

"We see demand for change management solutions that are scalable, break the traditional consulting lead model, and provide companies with change capability that is agile and easy to access and implement. Many of organisations in SA have internal change management capabilities but struggle to implement change across their organisation in a consistent and easily deployable model, which is both standardised and effective in terms of reach and results.

"The discrepancy between the need for change and the capability to deliver it means that many change initiatives fail to meet the business case and the return on investment envisaged. At Changefirst, we regularly see signs that organisations are struggling to cope with the sheer volume and complexity of change. This scenario frequently manifests itself at all levels of the organisation," le Cordeur points out.

The e-change platform, he adds is designed to substantially reduce client costs, increase project consistency and is a fast, cost-effective and data-driven solution to increase an organisation's return on investment from major strategic change initiatives. It features leadership and employee education, change diagnostics, planning and reporting tools, and a change community all in one solution.

"One of the biggest challenges for organisations today is creating and maintaining their capabilities to change, and e-change allows them to implement more change, more successfully. There's an incredible amount of learning and application wrapped up in e-change", explains Miller.

Changefirst addresses these critical issues through building internal change capabilities, using the various cloud based solutions. The company says its approach is premised on four key pillars: structure and alignment, change management methodology, leadership skills and creating resilient employees.

Discussing the Cape Town based organisations' target market, le Cordeur notes the company's market is broad and includes all organisations in tier 1, 2 and 3. "We operate across all industries and we generally engage with C level executives, department heads, change managers and project managers who want to build and require the tools to deliver projects successfully and want to enable change capability across the organisation. Our company has trained over 30 000 change leaders, worked in over 40 countries with more than 300 clients."

The company has Partner offices in Australia, Brazil, Singapore and UK.
