To celebrate Mandela Day and in the spirit of making the world a better place, ITWeb Brainstorm is introducing a job-shadowing 'Leaders of Tomorrow' initiative.
Launching today on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with the hashtag #BrainstormLOFT (Leaders of Tomorrow), the campaign is aimed at helping aspiring IT professionals and tech entrepreneurs who are looking for insight or experience into a career in ICT.
"We have lined up experienced and inspiring industry executives who have volunteered to give young students, graduates, IT professionals and entrepreneurs job shadowing opportunities," says Ranka Jovanovic, editorial director of ITWeb.
"It's one thing to have technical knowledge gained through education, but knowing what that translates to and where it will take you in the working world is quite another," she adds.
Among the volunteers who have agreed so far to give shadowing opportunities are:
