The National Tender Bulletin is a dismal affair this week, with the number of advertisements noticeably diminished and little of substance to be found on the pages.

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) dominates the latest edition on both the quantity and quality fronts.

Government's technology specialist has become an occasional participant in the tender arena in recent years and these appearances are often for operational rather than technology requirements. This week, however, SITA produces a flurry of activity from its technology business.
