On 27 September 2017, Axiz introduced the latest addition to its software portfolio - Magic Software Enterprises, a global provider of end-to-end integration and application development solutions. The partnership will see Magic Software's connectivity solutions distributed to enterprises in South Africa and neighbouring countries, including Mauritius, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Mozambique.
Jacques Malherbe, Axiz CTO and Managing Executive of Advanced Technologies, is very excited about bringing Axiz and Magic together. "We are moving into a software world and nobody knows this better than us. Everything is moving to the cloud and the world is becoming software defined. We are seeing the data centre being taken apart, with a part of it becoming the public cloud and a part of it going to the private sector, resulting in a hybrid environment. We also see more requests coming our way to integrate software applications and make them more user friendly. Data shows us that the user experience translates directly into value."
According to Malherbe, digital interaction is important to Axiz when dealing with its customers, and as a result, the partnership with Magic is the most natural next step. Magic Software's integration and application development solutions will be available to the channel through Axiz, with its cloud solution soon to be launched as well.
