AdvanceNet and UK CRM vendor, Really Simple Systems, have partnered to deliver hosted CRM systems throughout Africa.
AdvanceNet will add Really Simple Systems' hosted CRM to its portfolio of traditional in-house CRM products, including Pivotal and Microsoft Dynamics.
“The combination of ease of use, reliability and speed over limited Internet connections makes Really Simple Systems hosted CRM the ideal product for African companies looking for a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution,” says AdvanceNet MD, Phil Hemsley.
“The Really Simple Systems offering was really cost-effective, some others were as much as 10 times the price,” says Gavin Green, MD of African Corporate Cleaning Services, an early adopter of Really Simple Systems in Johannesburg.
Green adds: “We also liked the hosted aspect; we did look at some 'on-premise' solutions, but decided they weren't for us. We wanted the ease, security and reliability of a hosted solution.”
According to AdvanceNet, this latest deal, coupled with recent reports from Gartner indicating that SaaS revenue will grow by 18% in 2009, demonstrates the global demand for hosted CRM solutions, and the shift to SaaS.
