Projecturf upgrades PM software

Web-based project management software developer Projecturf has released a Version 2.2 of its project management (PM) platform, reports eWeek.

This platform boasts calendar syncing - the top customer requested feature - along with user interface refinements, improved page loading times, and simplified integration with cloud-based file hosting services such as Dropbox.com and Box.net.

The company offers a 14-day risk-free trial, and all business plans come with unlimited storage space and no cap on users, project managers or features.

Genius Inside creates PM software

Genius Inside, a dealer in project management software, has released an on-premise edition of its PPM Solution for security-conscious users at Lotusphere 2011, states InfoTech.

Designed to adapt to any organisation's business model, Genius Inside explained that its Genius Project Enterprise delivers a highly flexible and configurable solution allowing for tailored feature sets for a wide array of project team members and project types.

Its on-demand PPM is a Web-based project management software that offers all the functionality of a desktop software, with the flexibility of the Internet at a lower initial cost.

Aldon offers PM for Windows

Aldon has released Agile Manager, a free agile project management application that is part of Aldon's total Agile ALM solution and is focused on bringing agile development into businesses in whole or part, writes Systems iNetwork.

Agile Manager aims to kickstart the agile development process via backlog management and release management functionality. It supports project management surrounding IBM i-projects and works in conjunction with the IBM i-SCM process tools.

Built to help IT departments improve the management of agile projects with improved planning, prioritising, and collaboration, Aldon Agile Manager is claimed to automate many manual processes of agile development, including backlog management. The software evolves and adjusts as an organisation's agile needs evolve and adjust.
