Michelangelo Technology is exhibiting at the 2011 Homemakers Expo at the Coca Cola Dome, Randburg, from 24 to 27 February, and can be found at stand Q13. The theme for the Michelangelo exhibit is “the art of green”.
“The future of Africa is green,” says Michelangelo CEO Andr'e Nel. “Our locally developed and patented energy efficient solutions opens the doorway to bridging the educational divide by delivering green modular buildings fitted with low energy computers for e-learning,” he adds. In fact, Michelangelo Green technology is also applicable to business and industry, offering possibly the lowest cost of ownership in the market today.
The Safe Computer is a new generation of durable anti-theft green IT computer manufactured by Michelangelo Technology, and is available in an integrated 16-inch W-LED screen, with keyboard and mouse for educational and office use as well, as a 17-inch touch screen version for industrial and business applications. At 50 Watts, it uses 15% of the energy of a PC and has a slimline wallmount anti-theft steel design incorporating a safe-grade lock.
Michelangelo Green Modular Concrete vertical wall panels and modular roof slabs deliver rapid construction with durable components that are stronger than brick. The use of pre-cast Thermal Concrete, natural lighting and managed air-flow results in an energy saving highly insulated building that offers inherent thermal comfort without using power hungry air-conditioners or heaters. Computer Aided Design technology assists in accurate building layout and costing. Savings of more than 20% are achievable in construction and more than 50% in operating expenses using civil engineering design practice.
