The firm provided legal advice to Sage (UK) on its recent £20 million acquisition of human
resources (HR), payroll and time and attendance specialist KCS Global.
A team led by senior associate Richard Butts worked on the transaction, which also involved North venture capital firm Northern Venture Managers.

The collaboration, a first for both parties, will be used to penetrate the small and medium enterprises market in Malaysia and the region, with SAP Malaysia's 11 partners and 200-strong client base as its initial target market, said Boon Sing.
Leveraging on the SAP brand name, Kzen Solutions will market its HR solution in the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore by the third quarter of 2008.
