Acquisition makes it a £250m year

Advising software group Sage is on a £20 million acquisition that helped law firm Ward Hadaway's team clock up almost £250 million worth of transactions over the past year, reports This is the North East.

The firm provided legal advice to Sage (UK) on its recent £20 million acquisition of human resources (HR), payroll and time and attendance specialist KCS Global.

A team led by senior associate Richard Butts worked on the transaction, which also involved North venture capital firm Northern Venture Managers.

Kzen, SAP Malaysia team up

Kzen Solutions is expecting a 25% to 30% revenue contribution from its new HR software solution Kzen HR One, which was developed in collaboration with SAP Malaysia, said Kzen Solutions CEO Ng Boon Sing, reports TheEdgeDaily.

The collaboration, a first for both parties, will be used to penetrate the small and medium enterprises market in Malaysia and the region, with SAP Malaysia's 11 partners and 200-strong client base as its initial target market, said Boon Sing.

Leveraging on the SAP brand name, Kzen Solutions will market its HR solution in the Philippines, Thailand and Singapore by the third quarter of 2008.

HRevolution has been designed to flex with organisational needs. Customers can contract for one or more of the human capital modules available according to their precise requirements.
